AI Summarizer
The AI Summarizer gives learners concise summaries of live sessions and course material, so they can review without rewatching full recordings. It sits under Veda AI → AI Summarizer.
What learners get
- Quick recaps: bite-sized summaries of sessions instead of full recordings.
- Key points highlighted: important concepts surfaced automatically from your course content, with citations on material summaries.
- Better retention: short, focused summaries that make review easier.
Enable it
If it has never been set up, the page introduces the benefits with an Enable AI Summarizer button.
Once set up, a single Enable AI Summarizer switch turns it on or off for learners.
The Summarizer has no other configuration in the admin app: it is a single on/off switch. The quality of its summaries depends on your course indexing (see AI Companion), which is what gives the AI access to your content and sessions.
