Selling & Enrolling

Your course is built. Now let's set a price, connect a way to get paid, and get your first learners in. This article covers pricing, payment setup, and the two ways learners join: buying on their own, or being enrolled by you.

Set aside about 20 minutes.

1. Connect a payment gateway

To accept payments, connect a payment provider. Do this once and it applies across your courses.

  1. Go to Payments / Sales → [Verify: Payment settings / Gateways].

  2. Choose a supported provider. [Verify: which gateways are supported, e.g. Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, list the real options.]

  3. Enter the API keys or credentials from your provider account. [Verify: exact fields.]

  4. Save and run a test transaction if the option is available.

You'll need an account with the payment provider first. If you only plan to offer free courses for now, you can skip this step and set the price to Free in the next section.

2. Set your course price

  1. Open the course in Courses.

  2. Go to its [Verify: Pricing / Sales tab].

  3. Choose a pricing model:

    • Free: no payment required; good for lead magnets and previews.

    • One-time payment: a single price for lifetime or fixed-duration access.

    • Subscription / installments: recurring or split payments. [Verify: whether supported on your plan.]

  4. Enter the amount and currency.

  5. Set access duration if relevant (lifetime vs. limited). [Verify: option.]

  6. Save.

Consider a low-priced or free "intro" course to build your audience, with paid courses for the full program.

3. Create a coupon or offer (optional)

Discounts are great for launches and early learners.

  1. Go to [Verify: Marketing / Payments → Coupons].

  2. Select Create coupon.

  3. Set the code (e.g. LAUNCH20), discount type (percentage or fixed), and value.

  4. Set limits: expiry date, usage cap, and which courses it applies to.

  5. Save. Share the code, or apply it automatically via a link. [Verify: capability.]

4. How learners enroll

There are two paths. Most academies use both.

Path A: Learners buy it themselves (self-enrollment)

Once a course is published and priced, it appears on your branded website. Learners can:

  1. Browse to the course page on your site.

  2. Select Enroll / Buy now.

  3. Create an account and pay (if paid).

  4. Get instant access.

To share it, copy the course's public URL from [Verify: the course page / share option] and post it anywhere: email, social, WhatsApp, or your website.

Path B: You enroll them (manual enrollment)

Useful for existing students, corporate batches, or free grants of access.

Enroll one learner:

  1. Go to Students / Learners.

  2. Select [Verify: Add / Enroll learner].

  3. Enter their name and email.

  4. Choose the course (and batch, if applicable) to enroll them in.

  5. Save. They'll get an email invite to set a password and start.

Enroll many at once (bulk import):

  1. Go to Students / Learners → [Verify: Import / Bulk upload].

  2. Download the sample CSV template.

  3. Fill in learner details following the template exactly.

  4. Upload the file and map the columns if prompted.

  5. Confirm the import.

Test the full flow yourself first, enroll a personal email as a learner and walk through the course. It's the fastest way to catch anything confusing before real students arrive.

5. Confirm it works

  • Payment gateway connected (or course set to Free)

  • Course price set and saved

  • Course page loads correctly on your branded site

  • You've completed one test enrollment end to end

  • Learner received the welcome/enrollment email

What happens after enrollment

Once learners are in, you can track their progress and activity under Students / Learners and in Reports / Analytics: completion rates, active learners, and revenue. Keep an eye on these in your first weeks to see what's working.

That's the full getting-started path. Your academy is live. If you hit a snag anywhere, Getting Help has you covered.
