Getting Started with the Website Builder

The Website Builder is a visual editor for your institute's public website. You arrange ready-made sections and blocks on a canvas, style them, and publish, with no code needed. Your courses, eBooks, test series and playlists appear on the site automatically, pulled live from your Edmingle catalog.

Open the builder

  1. Go to Settings → Website & App Setup → Website.
  2. On the Manage your website card, click Open Website Builder.
  3. The builder opens on your Home page. To return to the admin dashboard, click the back arrow (Back to Admin) at the top left.

The basic workflow

  1. Pick a page from the page menu. Start with Home.
  2. Apply a template from Templates, or add sections from Add Element.
  3. Click text and images on the canvas to edit them, and fine-tune them in the Selection pane.
  4. Check the Tablet and Mobile views.
  5. Click Save to keep a draft, then Publish when you're ready to go live.

Set your logo, favicon and brand color first in Settings → Website & App Setup → Brand Settings, and your site-wide colors and fonts in the builder's Settings pane. Every section you add then picks them up automatically.
