Sub-Organizations (Branches)
Sub-Organizations are your branches: separate organizational units under your institution, each with its own learners, instructors, and courses. This is the same set of branches you switch between using the branch selector at the top of the app. It sits under Settings → Profile & Organization → Sub-Organizations.
The primary branch
One branch is the Primary branch. Learners who register or sign up on your portal or app are automatically added to the primary branch. Only one branch can be primary at a time.
The branch list
Each row is a branch, showing:
- Branch Name (with a PRIMARY badge on the primary branch, and a learner count)
- Manager (name and contact)
- Activity (number of instructors and courses)
- Actions
Search by branch name at the top.
Create a branch
- Click Create Branch.
- Fill in the drawer:
- Branch Name (required, up to 50 characters)
- Branch Contact Number, Branch Address, City, State, Pincode, Country, Website Link
- Toggles:
- Primary Branch: make this the branch that receives self-registered learners.
- Allow online registration: let learners register for this branch's courses online.
- Hide Learner's Purchases: remove the "My Purchases" section from the learner portal and app.
- Make Feedback Form Mandatory: require learners to complete the previous session's feedback before starting the next (applies to sessions scheduled after you enable it).
- Save with Create Branch.
If you mark a new branch as Primary while another branch already is, you will be asked to confirm; the current primary branch becomes a normal branch.
[!Important] The number of branches you can create is limited by your plan. When you reach the limit, creating another prompts you to upgrade.
Edit a branch
Open the Actions menu and choose Edit Details to change any of the above.
Publish courses to a branch
For a non-primary branch that has no courses yet, the Actions menu offers Publish Courses. This publishes all of the primary (source) branch's published courses to that branch (unpublished courses are not copied). Large operations are queued and appear in your Scheduled Tasks.
There is no delete action for a branch. Manage branches by editing them, changing which is primary, and controlling their toggles.
