General Settings is where you shape how Veda AI presents itself to learners: its avatar, name, tone of voice, and the topics it is allowed to talk about. These settings apply to all Veda agents. It sits under Veda AI → General Settings.

Avatar: upload an image for your AI assistant.
AI Name (required): the name learners see (up to 8 characters).

Tone & Personality

Choose one:

Friendly and approachable: warm language that makes users feel comfortable and welcome.
Professional and formal: polished, respectful language that emphasizes professionalism.
Casual and conversational: relaxed, everyday language for a more natural dialogue.

Topics & Domain Expertise

Select the broad topics your institution covers, from the suggested list or by typing your own.

Topics control the AI's scope: any learner message outside them is treated as out of scope. Avoid being too narrow, since overly specific topics hinder the learner experience.

Preview and save

A live preview shows how your assistant will appear. The Save button appears in the header once you change something; click it to apply.

Match tone to your audience: Professional for corporate or compliance training, Friendly for school and skilling programs, Casual for community or hobby courses.
