Email Logs

The Email Logs report tracks every email your academy sent, with its delivery and engagement status. Use it to confirm whether a message reached a learner and what happened to it. It sits under Analytics → Notification Logs.

Open the report

Go to Analytics → Notification Logs and open Email Logs.

Email logs older than 90 days are not available. A notice on the page reminds you of this. Export what you need before it ages out.

What each row shows

Each row is an email event, with:

  • Recipient Email
  • Sender Email
  • TimeStamp (sortable)
  • Type: the kind of email.
  • Status: the delivery/engagement state (see below).

Delivery statuses

  • Sent: handed off for delivery.
  • Delivered: reached the inbox.
  • Opened: the recipient opened it.
  • Clicked: the recipient clicked a link.
  • Bounced: could not be delivered (hover for the bounce type and reason).
  • Complained: marked as spam by the recipient.
  • Delivery Delayed: delivery is delayed.
  • Success / Unknown: other states.

Filters, search, and export

  • Filter by date (default last 30 days; custom ranges up to 75 days) and by status (Sent, Opened, Delivered, Bounced, Success, Unknown).
  • Search the logs.
  • Sort by timestamp.
  • Download CSV: exports are queued; you will be notified when the file is ready.

Removing an email from the bounce list

If your plan includes it, a Remove from bounce list action appears. Use it to remove a single email address from the bounce suppression list (for example, after a mailbox issue is fixed) so future emails to that address are attempted again.

If a learner says they never got an email, search their address here first. A Bounced status with its reason usually explains why, and you can act on it (fix the address, or remove from the bounce list where allowed).
