Reviewing an AI-Evaluated Submission

When AI Evaluation is on for an assignment, Veda drafts a score and feedback for each submission. You review and adjust it, then save. This happens on the Review Assignment screen (from Submissions).

Spotting AI-evaluated submissions

In the Submissions list, AI-evaluated work carries an AI Evaluated tag. On the review screen, a status appears:

• Queued: waiting to be evaluated.

• In Progress: being evaluated.

• View AI Evaluation: ready for you to review.

Open the evaluation

Click View AI Evaluation to open the Auto-Evaluate with AI panel, where you review and edit the AI-generated evaluation before saving marks.

It contains:

• Marks, with the AI Suggested Score out of the maximum. You can edit the marks before saving.

• An Overview of the evaluation.

• What was good and What went wrong: editable bullet lists (add, edit, or remove points). For question-based assignments these appear per question.

Save your review

Click Save AI Review to store the marks and the feedback. Then use Mark as evaluated on the submission when you are done.

[!Important] The AI suggests; you decide. Always check the score and feedback before saving, since this is what the learner ultimately sees.
