User Analytics
User Analytics is a dashboard of learner engagement and behavior: how many learners you have, when they are active, how long they spend, and what devices and locations they use. It sits under Analytics → Advanced Analytics.
[!Important] Advanced Analytics is a Power-plan feature. On lower plans you will see an upgrade prompt instead of the dashboard.
Open the report
Go to Analytics → Advanced Analytics and open User Analytics.
Choosing a period
A date-range picker at the top drives all the widgets. Pick a range (with presets) to see engagement for that period.
What the dashboard shows
- Total Learners and live/active learners.
- Engagement over time (daily and monthly active users) and an activity heatmap of when learners are active.
- Average time spent, with the change versus the previous period.
- Devices, top operating systems, and device brands.
- Top learners by usage and top countries by learners.
- Engagement health for your organization.
- An App Engagement chart tracking app installs and uninstalls over time.
Drilling into the detail
Some widgets open a Detailed View with a filterable, searchable table of the underlying learners, showing name, email, created-on, last-seen, and metrics relevant to the widget (such as country and region, time spent and sessions, or OS type).
Export
From the Detailed View you can export to CSV. The export is queued: you will get a notification with a link to Scheduled Tasks, where the file appears when ready.
Use the activity heatmap and average time spent to schedule live sessions and send announcements when your learners are most active.
