Configuring the Discount

Step 2 of the promo code drawer is Discount Configuration: what the code applies to and how much it takes off. This article covers it.

Choose what the code applies to

You attach the code to specific products. There is no "applies to everything" option.

Courses

Under Course Selection, add one or more rows:

1. Select a course (only published, non-archived courses appear).
2. Select the branches the code applies to (only branches where the course is published are available; the branch field is disabled until you pick a course).
3. Use Add Another Course to add more, or the remove icon to delete a row.

Memberships

If memberships are enabled for your account, a Membership Selection section lets you attach the code to membership plans the same way (plan + branches, repeatable).

You must select at least one course or one membership (with branches), or you cannot save.

Set the discount per currency

Once you have selected courses or memberships, a currency table appears with one row per currency (based on the branches you chose). For each currency set:

• Discount % (required): the percentage off, from 0 to 100.
• Max. Discount Amount (required): the maximum money value the discount can reach, so a percentage never exceeds this cap.

What is not available

To set expectations:

• Discounts are percentage-only; there is no flat or fixed-amount discount.
• There is no restriction by audience, segment, new users, or first purchase, and no option to combine or exclude other offers.

Save

Click Create code (or Update code / Duplicate Code) to finish. You will see a confirmation.
