Setting Up the Loyalty Program
The Settings screen is where you turn the program on and set every point value and rule. This article covers it. Open Engage → Loyalty Program and click Settings.
Enable the program
At the top, turn on Enable Loyalty Program. Until this is on, the point-value fields below are disabled, and you cannot add points manually.
Enabling the program unlocks the fields for editing, but your values are only stored when you click Save Changes.
General Settings
These control the overall economy of your program:
- Max Credit Allowed: the maximum points a single learner can accumulate in total.
- Max Credits Redeemable: the maximum share of a paid transaction that points can cover, as a percentage. For example, 20 means points can pay for at most 20% of any purchase.
- Credit Conversion: the money value of one point, shown as "1 point = [your currency][value]". This sets how much a point is worth at checkout.
Sign Up & Enrollment rules
Set how many points each action earns:
- Referral Signup: points for a learner who signs up using a referral code.
- Normal Signup Credit: points for a learner who signs up without a referral code.
- Referrer Credit: points for the referrer when their referral signs up.
- Referral Course Purchase: points for the referrer when their referral buys a course.
Social Engagement rules
If the social engagement add-on is enabled, you will also see:
- Post on Facebook/Instagram/TikTok: points for posting and tagging your brand. This single value applies to all three platforms.
- Google Review: points for leaving a Google review.
- Custom Event: a custom action you have configured, with its own name and point value.
If you do not see the Social Engagement section, the add-on is not enabled for your account. The single social value covers Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok together.
Save
Click Save Changes to store your configuration. You will see a confirmation, and the values take effect for future earning and redemption.
Start conservative. Set a modest conversion rate and a Max Credits Redeemable cap (for example, 10 to 20 percent) so points reward loyalty without deeply discounting every sale, then adjust as you see uptake in the ledger.
