Managing Question Banks
This article covers the Question Bank list: finding banks, reading the columns, and deleting safely.
The Question Bank list
Go to Learning → Question Bank. The page is titled Question Banks and each row shows:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Sr. | Row number |
| ID | The bank's ID, useful when you are talking to support |
| Name | The bank name, with its question count underneath |
| Difficulty | A colour-coded tag: EASY, MEDIUM, HARD, or NA |
| Exam | |
| Subject | |
| Topic | |
| Actions | The actions menu |
Click any row to open the bank and see its questions.
Find a bank
- Search by name using the search box.
- Filter by Exam, Subject, Topic, and Difficulty.
The list shows 50 banks per page and you can change the page size.
Filtering by topic is the quickest way to find every bank you could link into a section you are building. Open the exercise in one tab and the list in another when you are assembling a large paper.
Row actions
Open a bank's Actions menu:
- Edit Question Bank: reopens the details drawer.
- Delete Question Bank: removes the bank.
Deleting a question bank
Deleting is guarded, because it is permanent.
- Choose Delete Question Bank.
- The dialog warns: "Warning! Are you sure you want to delete this question bank?" and "This action cannot be undone."
- A 10-second countdown runs before the confirm button becomes active. It shows "Delete Question Bank(10s)" counting down.
- Wait for it, then confirm. You will see "Question bank deleted successfully".
Deleting a bank cannot be undone, and because links are live, any exercise using that bank loses those questions. Check where a bank is linked before deleting it. If you only want to take it out of one exercise, use Remove on the linked bank inside that exercise instead.
Deleting a single question
Inside a bank, use the delete icon on a question card and confirm "Are you sure you want to delete this question ?". The question is removed from the bank and from every exercise linked to it.
Permissions
| Action | Access needed |
|---|---|

You're done
That completes the Question Banks collection. You can now build banks, fill them by hand, with AI, or by import, link them into online exercises, and control exactly how many questions each one contributes.
