Adding & Enrolling Learners
There are several ways to get learners into a batch, depending on whether they already exist in your account and how many you are adding. This article covers them all.
The Add Learners drawer
The quickest way is from inside the batch.
- Open the batch and click Batch Actions → Add Learners (or use Add Learners from the header).
- The Add Learners To Batch drawer opens with three tabs:
- Select From Course: pick existing learners from the course and select them in the table.
- Upload file: bulk-add learners by uploading a CSV file. Download the sample file, fill it in, and upload.
- Select From Branch: pick existing learners from the branch.
- Select or upload your learners, then click Add Learner(s) (or Upload and Add for CSV).
A learner can only be added to a batch if they are not already enrolled in that course. This prevents duplicate enrollments across batches of the same course.
Full enrolment flow
For enrolling new learners (people not yet in your account) or for more control, use the Enroll Learners link, which opens the full enrolment flow. This lets you register new learners and enroll them into the course and batch in one pass. See the enrollment documentation for the complete step-by-step.
Bulk enrollment with CSV
For large groups:
In the Add Learners drawer, go to Upload file.

Download the sample CSV template.

Fill in learner details exactly as the template requires.
Upload the file and confirm.
Always start from the sample CSV. Matching its columns exactly is the difference between a clean import and a batch of errors to clean up.
Moving learners between batches
Moving a learner from one batch to another is handled through the enrolment flow rather than an in-place control inside the batch. Re-enroll the learner into the target batch using the enrolment flow.
What's next
Once learners are in, schedule their classes in Sessions, Live Classes & Recordings.
