Creating an Event
Creating an event is a two-step wizard: Basic Details and Pricing. This article covers step 1. Scheduling (the Event Timings field) has its own article, and pricing is covered next.
Start creating
Go to Products → Events and click Create Event. You can also use the + New → Event shortcut in the top bar. The wizard opens on Basic Details.

To move on, click Continue. If a required field is missing, you will see "Please enter the mandatory fields". In edit mode you can click step headers to jump between steps; in create mode you move through them in order.
Basic event details
Event Name (required)
The event title, up to 50 characters (a counter is shown).
Event Timings (required)
The event's session date(s) and time(s). This is covered fully in Scheduling Event Sessions.
Event Image (required on create)
Upload a cover image. Accepted formats are PNG, JPEG, JPG, WebP, and AVIF, up to 5MB. The preferred size is 1080px x 720px.
The image is required when creating an event but optional when editing one, so you can update other details later without re-uploading it.
Event Description (required)
A rich-text description of the event, shown to learners.
Status (required)
Choose Published or Unpublished. It defaults to Published. Unpublished events are hidden from learners until you publish them.
