Managing Events
This article covers the Events list: what you see, how to find events, and the actions available, which change depending on an event's status.
The Events list
Go to Products → Events. The list shows:

- Event Name
- Event Date
- Visibility (Published or Unpublished)
- Status (Upcoming, Live Now, Completed, Expired, or Cancelled)
- Actions
Click a row to open that event's Overview.

Finding events
- Search by name using the search box.
- Filter by Visibility (Published or Unpublished).
There is no upcoming/past/draft filter; use the Status column to tell events apart and the Visibility filter to narrow the list.
Row actions by status
The actions available depend on the event's status:
- Upcoming: Edit, Publish or Unpublish, Cancel, Delete, and Copy public URL.
- Live Now: no actions are available while an event is live.
- Completed or Expired: cannot be edited, published, unpublished, cancelled, or deleted.
- Cancelled: no further actions.
The exact set also depends on your permissions.
The actions explained
Edit: reopen the event wizard. Not available for cancelled, live, completed, or expired events. Remember that already-started sessions are locked.

Publish / Unpublish: change visibility. Unpublish asks you to confirm.
Cancel: cancels the event.
Cancel takes effect immediately and does not ask for confirmation. Be sure before you choose it.
Delete: removes the event.
Delete cannot be undone. The confirmation says: "Are you sure you want to delete this event? This action cannot be undone, and all event details will be permanently removed." On the event's Overview screen this same action is labelled Archive.
Copy public URL: copies a direct link to the event (available for upcoming and live events).
Editing from the Overview
You can also manage an event from its Overview screen, which has an Edit Event button (disabled for cancelled, live, completed, or expired events) and an actions dropdown offering Publish, Unpublish, Cancel, and Archive.
Permissions
- View events: event read access.
- Create / Edit / Publish / Unpublish / Cancel: event write access.
- Delete / Archive: event delete access.
Admins have full access. Buttons and actions hide when you lack the required permission.
You're done
That completes the Events collection. You can now create events with one or more sessions, price and publish them, control module-level visibility, and manage registrations, attendance, and the events themselves through their whole life.
