Setting Event Pricing

Step 2 of the event wizard is Pricing. Here you decide whether the event is free or paid, and set prices per currency. This article covers it and the share link you get after creating.

Set the price

Pricing is a grid with one row per currency:

  • Currency.
  • Selling Price (required): the amount you charge. Enter 0 to make the event free.
  • Cut Price (optional): a struck-through comparison price. If you set it, a green "% OFF" badge is calculated and shown to learners.
  • Delete: remove a currency row.

Your base organization currency row is pre-filled and cannot be removed. To sell in more currencies, add them here; to enable additional currencies overall, go to Settings > International Selling.

A Selling Price of 0 makes the event free. There is no separate free/paid toggle; the price determines it.

If you set a Cut Price, it must be greater than the Selling Price. Otherwise you will see "Cut Price should be greater than Selling Price" when you save.

Create the event

Click Create New Event (or Update Event when editing) to finish.

List of events with a highlighted row for 'sharable event live class'.

After you create an event, a confirmation dialog titled Event created appears with a shareable link.

  • Click Copy Link to copy it (you will see "The event link has been copied to your clipboard").
  • Click View events to go to the events list.

The link opens the event's public page. If you enabled Easy Access for Guests, the link lets guests join directly.

When editing an existing event, this share dialog does not appear; you are returned to the events list.

Pricing checklist

  • Selling price set for your base currency (0 for free)

  • Additional currencies added if selling internationally

  • Cut price set only where it is higher than the selling price
