Scheduling Event Sessions
An event can run on a single day or across several. You set this in the Event Timings field on the Basic Details step. This article covers how to schedule sessions and the rules that apply.
Add sessions (days)
Each session is one scheduled block with a date, a start time, and an end time.
In Event Timings, set the first session's:
- Date (format DD-MM-YYYY).
- Start Time.
- End Time.

To add another day, click Add another day and fill in its date and times.

To remove a session, use the remove control on that row (available when there is more than one session).
Rules and limits
- You can add up to five sessions per event. The Add another day option disappears once you reach five.
- Past dates and times cannot be selected. The date picker disables past days, and start and end times are validated, so an invalid or past time shows "Invalid start time" or "Invalid end time".
- Times are chosen in 15-minute steps.
- The end time options depend on the start time you pick, so end must be after start.
There is no time zone selector on the event. Sessions use your organization's time zone (set in your organization profile), which is what learners see. Make sure that is correct before scheduling.
There is no recurrence option. To run a multi-day event, add each day as its own session rather than setting a repeat rule.
Editing sessions later
You can change sessions by editing the event, but with one important limit:
Once a session has started, it is locked in edit mode. Its date, time, and remove control are disabled, so you cannot move or delete a session that is already underway or completed. You can still edit sessions that have not started yet.
Tips
For a workshop series, add one session per day and give the event a clear name that signals it is multi-day (for example, "Design Sprint (3-day)"). Learners see all sessions on the event page.
