Course Details & Completion Settings

The Details tab is where you refine everything about the course itself: how it is described, how it is categorized, and how completion behaves. Open your course and select the Details tab to follow along. Click Save Changes when you are done.

Course Details

  • Course name: the title learners see.
  • Description: a short summary.
  • Thumbnail Image: the course image.
  • Pretty name: the URL slug for the course (letters, numbers, and dashes). This keeps your course links clean and readable.
  • Linked Assessments: attach assessments to the course. You can select multiple, reorder them, and mark any as a prerequisite.

The header also shows the course ID with a Copy Course ID option, useful when contacting support.

Course Overview & Promo Media

  • Overview: a rich-text description shown on the course page. Use this for the full pitch, curriculum highlights, outcomes, and who the course is for.

Course details page with promo video URL input field highlighted.
  • Promo video URL: a promotional video to feature on the course page.

Course Categorization

  • Sub-Categories (required): categorize the course so learners can find it.
  • Languages: the language(s) the course is offered in.

Course Progress & Completion Settings

These toggles control the learner experience around progress and completion:

  • Enable milestone achievement celebrations on course player: shows motivational nudges as learners hit milestones.
  • Content access after completion: lets learners keep accessing content after they have completed the course.
  • Enable Course Context for AI: allows the course to power AI features (this shows the AI credit cost).
  • Course completion: lets a learner mark the course complete themselves.
  • Make Modules Prerequisite: enforces sequential unlocking, so learners complete modules in order.

Custom Fields Mapping

If your organization has configured custom tags or fields, a Custom Fields Mapping section lets you map them to this course. If you have not set up custom fields, this section will not appear.

A strong Overview, a clear thumbnail, and a short promo video do most of the work in converting a browser into a buyer. Invest time here before you publish.
